On Nov 20th, 2019, CCTV Video 5G new video platform made by China Central Radio and Television(CCTV), the first national-level 5G new video platform, was officially online. Set by 5G+4K/8K+AI and other new technologies, the new comprehensive visual and audio media marked CCTV’key step in media convergence.

We constructed 8K ultra HD micro-pitch large screens, which were equipped with the most advanced display technology, in office areas, including live broadcast center, resource and digital center. By using modern communication technology, network technology and other advanced technologies, the multi-zone LED screens, equipped with distributed control system and 5G streaming media transmission, became platforms of smart display, live broadcasting monitor and smart signal control linked by data transmission network.

With 5G technology’s accelerating entering to commercial stage, an era of rapid mobile internet will come, and big revolution will happen in broadcast pattern and media ecosystem.
