From July 8 to 9, Gu Yu, Chairman of JEZETEK Group, led a delegation to Kenya for a special business exchange and inspection tour. The delegation held intensive engagements with local economic and trade institutions, key industrial parks, government authorities and outstanding enterprises, conducted multiple in-depth discussions and negotiations, and precisely tapped into cooperation opportunities, so as to drive the high-quality development of the Group’s business in Kenya and the wider East African region.
On the afternoon of July 8 local time, Gu Yu and his delegation met with Zhou Zhencheng, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, for a special work seminar. During the seminar, Gu Yu delivered a detailed briefing on the Group’s business layout, ongoing project progress and medium- and long-term strategic development plan in Kenya, and systematically expounded the Group’s development philosophy of deepening its presence in the local market, participating in regional economic development and pursuing localized operations. Meanwhile, in light of the actual conditions of overseas business operations, the delegation sought professional guidance and policy support on core issues including the interpretation of Kenya’s investment policies, market access standards, cross-border operational compliance, and the building of a risk prevention and control system.

The delegation also paid visits to key local industrial parks, competent government authorities and leading industry players, carrying out in-depth exchanges and economic and trade matchmaking. Through multi-level, all-round and in-depth communication, the delegation gained a systematic understanding of Kenya’s local investment climate, industrial development policies and market access rules, comprehensively identified project opportunities in key sectors such as large-scale infrastructure and distinctive industries, and made an accurate assessment of the local market’s development potential and cooperation prospects.
This business exchange trip to Kenya represents a pragmatic step for the Group to accelerate its internationalization drive and deepen its foothold in the East African market. Through this round of high-level engagements and targeted negotiations, the Group has gained a clearer picture of the Kenyan market’s development trajectory, clarified the compliance requirements for localized operations, and built up high-quality government and corporate resources. Going forward, the Group will continue to anchor itself in the development needs of the African region, leverage its own industrial and technological strengths, deepen practical cooperation with the Kenyan government, industrial parks and enterprises, actively participate in local infrastructure construction and industrial upgrading, steadily expand its overseas business footprint, and continuously enhance JEZETEK Group’s international operational capacity and regional brand influence.
